Synopsis: The Corbetts were leading a happy life until a tragic incident changes everything. The young couple struggles to cope with their loss and gradually grows apart. Rabbit Hole is a moving story of their search for solace amidst the darkness of despair, as they look for a way to find hope and healing.

The play's success lies in its simplicity. Although significant events occur, Lindsay-Abaire's approach is so subtle that the audience is often caught off guard. It's a play that demonstrates the close relationship between comedy and tragedy. Lindsay-Abaire's use of humor in the script helps to balance the intense emotions, making it easier for the audience to connect with the characters and their struggles.

Rabbit Hole premiered on Broadway in 2006 and went on to win the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2007. The play was adapted into a movie in 2010, directed by John Cameron Mitchell and starring Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart as Becca and Howie.
