Forever After
Assistant Director/ Intimacy Consultant
The Other Side of Silence (TOSOS)
Synopsis: At the end of a play, a gay couple celebrates their one-year anniversary, alone at last and content with their romantic conclusion. That is, until a drag queen descends upon the stage, insisting that gay men don't get happy endings and demanding a rewrite. Another queen rushes in to advocate for the power of love, starting a fierce wig-to-wig battle between the queens, each vying for control of the narrative, throwing the couple into existential crisis.

The Other Side of Silence (TOSOS)
Synopsis: Moments before their "I do's" a gay couple finds themselves hiding out in a broom closet questioning if getting married is giving into the heteronormative wedding industrial complex. The closet then obviously transforms into a pirate spaceship as they go on a meta exploration of what it means for their love to be witnessed.

“Separately, Forever After and A Marriage Is a Story We Tell and Keep Telling are both gems of the playwright’s art. Together, they provide an entertaining evening that will linger in memory long after the performance ends. You owe it to yourself to make the trip to the Flea Theatre to see TOSOS’ brilliant production of these two plays.”
